Born Michael Bolotin in New Haven, Connecticut, I began my musical journey in the 1970s, initially performing hard rock before finding my signature sound in soulful ballads. My career has spanned over four decades, during which I've released numerous chart-topping albums and singles that have become timeless classics. Songs like "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You," "When a Man Loves a Woman," and "Said I Loved You...But I Lied" have become anthems for millions around the world.
